I am also excited for this opportunity to serve with a native French speaker to really perfect my French. But, sadly after 9 months, I am back on a bike. It will for sure help me to get back into shape! Saying goodbye to all of these special families in Papeari! I really loved the ward I served in. I am going to miss them and the investigators we taught. But I am excited for the change! I love seeing what the Lord has prepared for me! Joyeux Noel!! I hope you all are having a very Merry Christmas! This week was a pretty great week! We had our leadership meeting and that was good. I always enjoy them and the Spirit that it brings! We talked a lot about the importance of learning the Tahitian language. Heare maru haere papu! I'm getting there! We also had our Mission Christmas party this week. It was so great seeing all the other missionaries! I always love seeing my friends there. I am so grateful for the friends I have made on my mission! Each zone had to prepare a skit for the Christmas party and our theme was Mary. So we had a Sister missionary sing "Marry Did You Know?" and then we did shadow puppets to act out the song! It was pretty creative! My zone This past weekend we had a baptism. His name is Jean. We started teaching him when I got to this area and he has changed so much! It is so amazing to see what the gospel can do to so many peoples lives! I had the privilege of baptizing him.

Hello, Bonjour, Iaorana! I hope you all had a great week this past week, and I'm sure you are all getting ready for Christmas. It is really weird here because Christmas is not the same. It is the hot season and there are no Christmas lights! But I am excited for Skype next week! This week we had a multi zone conference and it was really good! We talked a lot about Jesus Christ, since it is Christmas season we need to remember Him. We also talked about His Atonement. I am grateful for Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I know that it is through His Atonement that we can receive a forgiveness of our sins and that we can live with God again! Me and Elder Kerr We had our ward Christmas party this week, it was awesome and really traditional. We had dancing and a lot of great food. I love the ward I am serving in right now. I have a ton of friends and the members are so great!  Primary Tahitian Christmas Program  Eating hot peppers with my zone I hope you all have a gr

Ladies and Gentlemen WELCOME to the email of Elder Van Lindt! I hope that you all had a great week. Elder Brown and I had a great week! We were able to find 7 new people to teach! Such a blessing! We were busy doing lessons all week long so that was awesome! So here are some highlights from my week - We fixed the marriage and baptism of Jean and Anita (that is the picture of us with our bishop). They have come such a long way! They literally have nothing and I know that the gospel is going to be such a great blessing to their lives! They are already seeing so many blessings. Funny thing, I signed Elder Brown and I up to make the wedding cake for their wedding! LOL We will see how that turns out! We did the last lesson with Poekiva this week because she is going to the islands for vacation. She will be gone for a month. She is SO intelligent and one of my favorite investigators! I know she is going to be baptized one day, once her parents accept! I made a cheese cake this
