Elder Kyle Van Lindt - Tahiti Pape'ete Mission

Hello Everyone! I hope that you all had a great week! This week was a good week in Punaauia! It was a week full of trials but it's all good, because with trials comes miracles! Not a whole lot happened this week, but here are a few highlights! We started lessons with this new investigator. Her name is Hinarii and she has so much potential! We just did a first contact with her and she completely opened up to us and started crying! I am super excited to start teaching her! Elder Koyle and I went on splits this week and we did so much work! It was a great day full of every kind of missionary work you could think of. We did contacting, teaching, engaging, service, visiting members and inactives, and being out of the house for 11 hours! Overall, a great day! We had interviews with President Fox this week, and those are always super fun! I started going really hard in Tahitian this week! I WILL speak Tahitian before I finish my mission. Well, it has officially been a year since I have been on my mission. And I can say that it has been the BEST year of my life. I love every moment of my mission. Yeah, sometimes it might be difficult or hard but I have learned so much and am so grateful for everything that I have learned! Luckily I still have a year left! Here are some great highlights that happened this week! We fixed 3 baptisms this week! I am always so happy when people accept to be baptized! On Thursday, we had leadership council! It was the same day as my year mark so it was fun seeing others that started the same time as me there! We have a powerhouse promotion! I think we make up close to half the leaders of our mission now, and we are all only at our year mark! Also, Thursday night Elder Harrison and I went to a food truck that had American Flags all over it and it is called "The Steakhouse"! So yeah, I had a real steak and real fries! It was amazing!! Hello! I hope you all have had a great week and are doing well! This week was full for us and we sure didn't miss a minute of it! It was full of lessons, splits with members, and fun activities! Let's just say I am a little tired, but here are some highlights! We got a super awesome Tahitian living in our house now. He is waiting for his visa to go to Africa! Elder Harrison and I gave talks in church this last Sunday. I spoke on missionary work within the family and also about genealogy work! One night this week for our dinner we went to an 8 year olds birthday party .. that sure was interesting! Today for P Day we went and hiked Mt Vaitavere! It was a pretty great hike and we found this super cool graffiti picture of some wings, so of course I had to get a picture with them! This week we have really been working harder on being more bold and engaging others for baptism. This week we have been blessed and were able to fix 4 baptism dates within the next month! That mean

laorana tout le monde! This week has been such a great week, full of lots and lots of work and many miracles! I am so happt to be here and to serve all of these Tahitian people! I have built such a great love for each and every single one of them! Here are some highlights for my week! We went to the Temple this week with our District and it was super awesome! It had been about 8 months so I was happy to be there! I love the Temple! It is also so cool because it is all in French and that isn't a problem for me anymore! Last P Day we went and did a service project on the beach and picked up trash! I love spedning time with the members in my district! We are all such great friends! We ate with a member in another Ward and he is from Tubuai and was there when I served in Tubuai! And he bought us a Coke to drink!! We teach English class every Wednesday and Friday.
